TSRTC Gamyam – A Review

TSRTC encourages residents of Telangana and visitors to utilize the RTC Bus service for travel within Hyderabad City and between cities. As part of this endeavor, TSRTC has developed the Bus Tracking App to assist passengers in obtaining accurate information on bus arrival and departure times at various stops throughout Telangana and nearby states where TSRTC services are available. This helps passengers plan their travel efficiently and avoid unnecessary waiting at bus stops and stations.

The TSRTC BUS TRACKING app offers real-time tracking of Pushpak AC Airport buses, as well as all Express and above special type bus services of TSRTC. It provides ETA (Expected Time of Arrival) at boarding stage and selected destinations, allowing users to plan their travel schedule in advance. The app also tracks reserved buses based on the service number provided on the reservation ticket. Additionally, it provides updated information on schedules and bus routes offered by TSRTC.

This app enhances the experience of traveling on TSRTC buses by providing accurate information on bus arrival times near the user's location, whether it be their home, office, shopping center, or any other place. It facilitates better coordination for travel plans by providing connections to airports or railway stations in the user's search.

Main Features of the App:

1. Provides separate tracking for buses in Hyderabad City and District services.
2. Displays ETA for origin and destination points.
3. Enables searching for bus services between specific places/stages for Special type services like Garuda Plus, Rajadhani, Super Luxury, Deluxe & Express buses in District.
4. Enables searching for bus services between specific places/stages for Special type services like Pushpak (Airport services), Metro Luxury, Metro Deluxe & Metro Express buses in Hyderabad City.
5. Facilitates searching for Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Shamshabad Electric buses (Pushpak) that run 24/7 for passenger convenience.
6. Allows searching by bus number to track the location of a particular bus when someone you know is traveling on it.
7. Allows searching by route name/number to view all active trips on a specific route.
8. Displays the user's current location and nearest bus stop, helping them plan their trip.
9. Provides information on current active trips arriving at selected bus stops, including ETA and live bus location on the map.
10. Enables access to emergency services from TSRTC, such as a woman helpline and reporting breakdowns or accidents.
